A Play-Date

First of all, let me just say that my child is incredibly spoiled. All of these pictures were taken at my parent's house today, and 100% of the toys that you see in the background belong to my darling daughter. This is only a fraction of her "G & P" toys. It's awful. She has her own bedroom, complete with a little tykes vanity, a pink desk, wooden table and chairs, jumping zebra thingamajigger, and a whole butt load of other various crap that she absolutely does NOT need. There's an entire wardrobe for her squished into the closet, play equipment getting rained on in the back yard, and a whole cupboard in the the kitchen devoted to baby snacks. I've always thought that my parents were the best ever (I'm talking "Parents of the Century" here), so it's no surprise that they're cruising up the ranks in the "G-Parents of the Millennium" competition. I really wish they would stop feeding her crap though. Between the cookies and ice cream that they're always sneaking her, they may as well set her up with an IV filled with high fructose corn syrup. Ugh.

With that out of the way, let's get to the playing. First up, this is Emily, aka "Emmy". She's three years old, has a slight attitude, and never stops moving. She enjoys chasing ladybugs, peeing in the potty, and listening to Grammy read.

Next up is Ethan. Or as Emmy calls him, Eafin... my brudder. He's five months old, has at least four chins, and really funny hair. He enjoys drooling, licking the floor, and swaying in someones arms for hours at a time.

And finally, no post would be complete without a couple random pictures of Madelynn, aka Ollie/Mads/Livie/Babe.

Emmy and Eafin are my cousin's children, and their little lives are stuck in a very sad situation right now. I won't tell you more, it's really not my place, but if you find yourself in the praying mood, this family could use a shout-out. Thanks.
