A Tower by a 16 Month Old
Amazing right? The kid is a frickin' GENIUS I tell you.
Alright, so I built it. Mads knocked it down though. Megan and I took a trip to Kid to Kid the other day and I found some fabulous wooden toys for practically free (thank God I hit the toy aisle before Megan, I thought there was going to be a brawl over the super-fab-super-stacker wooden toy). That was my first trip to Kid to Kid and now I plan to go once a week. Holy super toys. I play with these blocks after Madelynn goes to bed. I'm not kidding, I've played with them for at least an hour every night since I brought them home. You can just make such cool shit with that toy! Madelynn? She throws the blocks at my head.
What's up with that anyways? If there's something in her hand, no matter what it is, she chucks it at my head. I took one of those "fist crayons" to the eye yesterday. Chick has an arm.

Danger is My Middle Name
And standing on the dinner table (which I didn't get a picture of because I was like, OMG-WTF-JHC!!)...
Florida Seis through Doce?
Pappy and Mads in the pool:
Cecilia and I before someone's anniversary dinner. Mads is just an extra in the photo, she didn't go. Neither did Jimmy or Jeff. Punks.
This is the cake I made for Jeffrey and Josh's birthday. J.A.P X2 because they both have those initials! That's Madelynn's cake on the side, after all, she wouldn't be here if Jeffrey didn't have a birthday.
These are from a fishing trip. I caught a trout! Jeffrey drank some brew,
and caught the bottom of the ocean.
Haha, I'm kidding, he caught a fish too. Just not in this picture, he's really pulling on the ocean when this was taken.
Woo-hoo Florida! We had a fabulous time and I was only one day past home-sick when we left. Good timing!

and then on the pool:
(table, that is).
Madelynn played with her new best friend, Flash:

Florida Day Tres
The water was like, three inches in places. It was the coolest pool ever.
Even though Mads was slathered in 60+ SPF, she still received a little baby tan line on her butt cheek. Unfortunately I had forgotten to SPF myself, so I walked out with a Rudolph red nose and crispy shoulders. Grandpa set up a huge pool for Madelynn and made us ice cream cones.
Jeffrey and I hunted for Jovan again and found him exactly where we knew we would. (?)
And now I'm going to roll the whole way to bed. I'm too exhausted to move. It's so damn hot here, 103 degrees takes a toll on your body after twelve hours. This is why I live in Pennsylvania, I just can't take the heat. I miss the north (and my friends, my apartment and maybe even the cat [I miss you, too, Mum and Daddy!!]). I plan to invent the "punctuation check" button. Don't steal my idea!
Peace.
